todatetime
Convert the input to a datetime.
A string is parsed as a date; a number counts 100-nanosecond ticks from 0001-01-01, as in Microsoft's KQL. A date outside the datetime range, 1677-09-21 to 2262-04-11, is null with a warning, and so is a timespan or a bool, which Microsoft counts from 0001-01-01. See datetime and timespan.
